its not exactly half half, its a mix of brown, blue, brown green or either of those.

some people who have "hazel eyes" can have more of blue/green while others can represent more of brown and i have them because my mom had brown eyes while my dad had blue eyes, though my mom's dad had brown eyes and her mom had green eyes so i could have some green as well as blue from my dad

Highly fucking doubt it changes from blue the least melinated colour all the way to hazel which is almost the most melinated

Well Im sure if you have pure eyes like brown or green the change is less noticeable, but to cut to the chase if you have hazel which would be some kind of mix between brown and something like blue/green, then the melanin in your eyes is affected by things (like the guy that is here explained) the sun, and the brown in your eyes directly corresponds to melanin content... Hence people who have albinism have no melanin and basically always have blue eyes, including black people.
