One of the most perfect height for males, 5’10 is part of the height Goldilocks zone for males. If you’ve grown to 5’10, consider yourself lucky. You’re tall enough to be considered above average (or tall in some places), taller than 99% of female adults, and never experience anything negative regarding your height while being short enough to never experience the downsides that tall people experience, while never being seen as short. Delon was 5'10 (PRIME HEIGHT?! !)
He was born a while ago tbh so I think he would be a bit taller if he were born these days
I don't know how tall exactly but I hear some people saying he was the old French equivalent to the modern American 6'1, now I'd need to do a bit of math before I can have a definitive answer on this but I think that's a bit bs tbh
I mean, look at the other French actors at the time, many were around that height or taller, look at the Golden Age of Hollywood actors, they were literally TALLER on avg than actors these days it seems
People have definitely grown more than they used to before but it's not NEARLY to the same extent some people say it has, Thomas Jefferson was 6'3, George Washington was 6'2, Abraham Lincoln was 6'4, etc.

Delon is probably the modern American equivalent of 5'11-6'0, he looks above average in height and towers over crowds in Purple Noon, but many were old and he was a young guy. Compare him to his fellow French actors and he looks a lot more meager, but certainly no runt, especially considering how actors tend to be a bit taller than the average man.
It's interesting though, he can look shortish, average, sometimes quite tall.

But you need life experience to get to that conclusion, not spending the first 25 yrs of your life in front of your computer

True. My 5'10" zoomer friend has had a better life @ 21 than I do at 27 . All because he has a better lower third and more defined jawline
