because everything that leads to increased GH indicates it being a stress hormone and why would a stress hormone be essential to growth?

And the normally functioning pituitary appears to be unnecessary to grow to normal height. (Kageyama, et al., 1998.)

no, I am not denying that I grew on GH (and I had elevated GH levels) but I also took it at 16 when I had only hit puberty at like 15

Because one could argue inversely that stress is the driving factor of growth; what need would there be in being a larger human being if not for improved fighting and hunting success; adaptation therefore being the result of stress…
