Yes I invented a new word. Its the inflation of height standards.
TLDR/ memes have been made revolving around quintessential chad/slayer for decades. Recently, only 5-10 years ago, the tweets, vines/videos, would be shit like “tfw gf talking to a 6’0 lightskin with green eyes tatted drug dealer” or whatever. Keep in mind the 6ft. Now the same memes are made as 6’4,6’5,6’6+
In recent years whats considered a ‘chad height’ has fucking skyrocketed
I assume many of you hve been on social media in ~2012-2016
Basically, have you seen those (2020,2021) tiktoks “TFW she leaves you for a 6’5 lightskin drug dealer with tats”
Like shit like that? Where normies describe a gigachad as a joke?
Or, “When hes kinda ugly but hes 6’3” (insert foid singing along to a song indicating she finds him attractive)
Basically, social media feedback about height being attractive, mainly the first one, where (mainly male) normies describe some perfect mogger. Im sure you have seen those vids.
Anyway, to those of you who used shit like vine, twitter, etc, ~5-10 years ago, these same exact jokes were made. HOWEVER the height was always fucking 6’0. Very very rarely 6’2+. Because 6’0 was considered like ‘perfectly tall’ if that makes sense. The 2014 memes would be like “Tfw you see your girl talking to a 6ft D1 running back/drug dealer” basically describing the quintessential chad who would cuck you.
The THING is the height they said was 6’0. Now I unironically see normies saying “Tfw a 6’6 guy with curly hair and tats likes her photo on IG” (Have you heard that tiktok sound ‘I cant fucking compete’?)
Basically the standards for a chad height have inflated so fucking hard recently due to (imo) social media
this isn’t to say you will get rejected or whatever for not being tall as shit. 98% of women iirc will date you at 6ft, 90% at 5’11. its just insane what is considered ideal now.
