Always felt since calisthenics was more natural that there was merit to it having more benefits over weightlifting, this is lifefuel for lean is law ppl imagine the free alternative turns out to give a better physique lol . Although I am interested in hearing arguments against this because the video is somewhat biased

Yeah also the risk of over training with calisthenics is super low whilst ego lifting is giga prevalent (which is bad for you)

its harder to progress lifts in calis and you cant really isolate muscles and hit every single part of every single muscle


you can do calis but weightlifting is superior stop coping

First of all a 'good' physique is subjective.
2nd:Non-weighted calistehnics only focuses on tvol and no increase in intensity unless some sort of move with brutal stability that makes you unable to put all your force on the weight but to stabilize for a good form
3rd calisthenics is good because its compound and thats why i do it.Its better for real life and practice.and cooler imo
4th bodybuilding mogs in terms of ht sth increase and is better for isolation and size

Don't see how any of that matters, everyone knows huge muscles aren't important & the video shows that the most aesthetic muscles are better suited for calisthenics leading to a more proportional physique

wanting to look like andrey smaev or jeff seid its completely subjective, some people want to be huge with muscles, some people just want defined muscles/be lean and they dont care about size that much

its subjective, everyones perspective is different, what makes a lean defined physique better than a less defined bigger in size physique ?

V-tapers always mog as for the 4th its cope and doesn't matter unless you wanna attract gymcels (muscle mass ≠ appeal also the muscles u want to train are hit better with this did u watch the video jfl), the 2nd is stupid because who tf does calisthenics unweighted besides beginners and 3rd you're correct mirin

gang what are you even talking about? you can achieve more muscle mass much more quicker by lifting weights.Weightlifting is much better in practicality.Fat people cant do calisthenics.And V tapers? what does that even mean you can ahve v tapers as a person that lifts weights.And people do unweighted calisthenics meaning their only bodyweight focusing on total volume.They do higher reps too which is proven to lower test.

but yeah a lean defined physique attracts women more than a bigger in size less definition physique but that doesnt make the lean physique "better" its just better for attracting women, nothing else everything else depens on your goals and its subjective, at the end of the day its just opinions bhai

What could possibly provide better muscle stimulus than you muscles being forced to adapt in order to combat external conditions?

No clue but girls obviously like it more, if I had to guess I'd say health markers. The leaner you are the healthier you are some new studied even show stuff like 22 BMI being less healthy than 18-19 BMI so it makes sense

also you can build the same lean defined muscle physique in the gym aka weightlifting faster than you would if you did calis because the gym offers a lot of variety between exercises, we went off the topic, weightlifting is better than calis, easier to progress in weights, faster gains, can build a good frame on either tho
