Are legumes “healthy” if you remove their lectins?

Beans, lentils, chick peas, etc. The lectins are what destroys the gut health with these things, albeit they’re easily removed from a prolonged soak and rinse.

I still don’t know the consensus though, are they part of a healthy diet or?
