High school grades don’t mean anything if you start off at a community college.

As long as you have your high school diploma or GED you can go to a community college then after 2 years transfer. You have to take classes pertaining to your future career though in community college, so just talk to the counselor/advisor and they can help you choose classes for your major.

The only thing that matters for getting a good job is connections first. You'll most likely still might need a degree in the field though. High school will never come up with anything ever again in your life, besides maybe getting into a college, but it's barely relevant too.

Late response but I wouldn't go for 2 years tbh, I'm actually planning on going to community for a 1-2 semesters than transferring. the longer you stay at community college, the harder it will be to make freinds at uni. 1 year is the sweet spot because its enough time to transfer, but its also allows you to actually make a lot of freinds
