The bar for women to be considered desirable is a bit lower with the exception that society sort of expects them to reach that bar by default. Any gal who doesn't is pretty much left for the dogs.
The bar for men to be considered desirable is a lot higher but with the case that men aren't really expected to reach said bar. If you can accept the fact that you'll never see a fulfilling love life as a sub Chad you can live a relatively free normal life. We don't really directly punish men for looking ugly the same way women do for looking ugly, we just don't give ugly guys the same chances good looking men get.
Most bullying of ugly guys is done by other guys btw.
The screenshot seems to be more about societal complaints than it does dating. Most women no matter the looks level can probably find a simp if they put themselves out there.
