While Benzoyl Peroxide doesn’t prevent sweat, it does help prevent of the odor of sweat without masking it by killing the bacteria on the skin that breaks down sweat and creates body odor.

The best form to take it in is a Benzoyl Peroxide Face Wash($6-$12), you want to apply it to the places that produce odor while in the shower for 45 seconds as you rub it around like one would do with body wash, then rinse it. Do this every other day, or every three days(not everyday). Even dermatologists recommend this so you know it’s safe.

The places you should definetly apply it include but are not limited to your armpits(shave them also if you havent), and back(especially lower back).

As for what percentage of benzoyl peroxide, as long as there is some Benzoyl Peroxide in the body wash it should work fine, whether it’s 5 or 10 percent. Of course if you have sensative skin in your armpits do the 5 percent range. Still 10% won’t do much actual damage unless you get an irritation. Both work about the same, with little difference for our purpose.

Also make sure to use a bodywash after.

Also side note if you have lots of bacne/back acne/body acne, Benzoyl Peroxide helps with getting rid of this a lot too as a bonus.

There are the lower percentage versions like 4% which you should use for a very short amount of time like 15 seconds if you have more sensative skin. It should be fine but ofc if you have a condition then don’t.

Btw 15-20 seconds is safer and still pretty effective
