Yes, they can. Traditional braces, that is. Myobrace can't, it does the opposite. I'm gonna buy it.

It depends, if you are getting braces to correct a bite. Yes it can possibly hurt your face. If it’s just to straighten the teeth, you are less likely to see damage. Either way I wouldn’t recommend braces at all. Just hard mew, tongue chew, correct head posture, chew gum. Dose up with good diet and supplements like k2. See how you go, and money max enough to get an appliance like myo brace or the AGGA etc. I personally had braces to fix an overbite and they pulled my maxilla back to my bottom mandible. Instead of addressing the actual issue which was an underdeveloped mandible. Fucking retards.
