The colder the shower, the shorter the shower. Cold showers make you less hygienic by shortening your showering time. Unconsciously you’ll shower for less time if it’s cold.

Taking cold showers instead of warm showers makes you not shower enough. You’ll smell like shit and repel your oneitis.

Solution: don’t just take cold showers; take both cold and warm showers. Example: take a cold shower in the morning and a hot shower at night.

Lol no, I do colds for 20-25 minutes every day. Test boost + dopamine boost. It gets easier and more enjoyable as the time passes so it feels good after 5-10 minutes.

Most people do not enjoy cold showering, and most who don’t enjoy cold showers don’t have enough discipline to fight through the pain.

Cold showering can work if either you have top-1% discipline or you enjoy cold showers. A minority of people have either of these traits.

I always end my showers with cold and usually alternate a few times with focus on different muscle groups.

I was really into cold showers few years ago, did absolutely nothing.

Uncomfortable, not healthy, cortisol spike, not a single benefit, absolute slave cope.

What dopamine boost?

You start shivering and your cortisol level raises. You increase stress chemicals in your body, complete opposite of any dopamine or pleasure chemicals.

short term cortisol isnt bad for you, if so why would you work out?

you get dopamine easier after the shower, makes it easier to focus on hard tasks in my experience

0 health benefits + torture yourself for no reason

I work out only for looks, it's a sacrifice of health for benefits of attractiveness.

lukewarm for general wash/hair maintainence

I don't have hot water for months so i've been cold showermaxxing a bit (coldest setting, no choice jfl). I don't like how it makes your dick shrink while you're in it (hot bath has opposite effect), though the feeling afterwards is kind of nice. I seem to always get more horny after I warm up & my dick gets back to it's normal flaccid size, so I'm not sure it helps for semen retention.
