60 years after death of last sikh guru who added all this warrior shit in sikhism like knife and khalistan, ranjit singh made sikh empire which lasted till british defeated it

Because death of last sikh guru was recent ,the sikh empire persecueted muslims, not killing them but denying them work and taxing them heavily, taking their land

they also destroyed almost all mughal built islamic stuff, and used their materials to make gurudwaras
only two monuments remain in lahore, jahangirs tomb, which was half destroyed and badshahi mosque, whose gold plating was stripped down and used for golden temple, badshahi mosque also has a gurudwara built adjacent to it to show sikh superiority, the mosque was also used as a stable by both sikhs and the british

The denying jobs and taking lands of muslims during sikh empire is one of the reasons why most rich business and political families in pakistan are UP immigrants from India after 1947 rather than born pakistanis before 1947
