Ok so to start off I was born with congenital ptosis and it causes a huge assymetry and failo. There are eyedrops that can temporarily relieve ptosis by stimulating a muscle in your eyelids. A 30 day of the eyedrops (Upneeq) costs around $130 to $200. We know the majority with ptosis cannot afford this long term. The main ingredient in the eyedrops is oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which is also found in generic afrin. Generic afrin has a half months supply of oxymetazoline hydrochloride, and is around $8 to $14 each vile. Theoretically, if you mix two containers of generic afrin with saline eye drops, you will create a cheaper upneeq alternitive around 30 dollars for a months supply.
