It depends on the lighting tbh, you have to judge contacts IRL, not at pics

There probably are people that get away with it, but we wouldn't know for the most part because of reverse survivorship bias wherein the only people that we know to wear contacts publicly are the ones that are obvious. I cannot get away with wearing coloured contacts as an Asian , always get call out for looking gay plus the contacts doesn’t translate well with my almost black eyes. I’m better off with clear contacts
