No. Everything you experience if just your senses (eyesight, hearing, etc.)

When you die they stop functioning, hence you don't experience anything.

Death is like an eternal full anesthesia for surgery.

The whole afterlife shit etc. is dogshit. We're all just animals and it's all primal. It even explains why we're rotting on this forum - simple natural selection, just like in the animal world.

I'm not big into science or anything but the concept of God, the afterlife, souls etc. all sounds like BS cope to me.

Almost every culture has some conception of a soul apart from body. I have always felt my self to be distinct from my body.

Maybe maybe not. Do you think people with brain damage are persons or not?

Not worth pondering, unanswerable question
It’s one of those things you’ll only find out when the time comes
Either everything amounts to us being murder monkeys and nothing more, or some sort of cloud daddy has a mission for us

I’d say given the vastness of the universe and it only getting more and more complex the more we learn, it’d be stupid to write off pretty much anything, at least completely. (Not to mention that realistically the foundation of what the universe is could be a lie and we don’t know. If there’s a “we” at all and not just an “I.”)

I have had paranormal experiences so I am inclined to believe theres more than our regular bodies. I believe in our spirit, rather than soul per se.

Science doesn't contradict belief, coexisting is possible

Soul, afterlife, religion is cope.

It's over after death. You don't have a brain anymore at that point and can't experience anything.

Remember what it felt like before you were born? That's what being dead feels like.

Assuming that consciousness is physical, death does not indicate the cessation of consciousness, rather a transformation, given infinite time.

you're unconscious even when you're knocked out by a punch. Or under anesthesia. Let alone when you die.

Just jfl at this.

You are presuming that the 'self' has a uniform identity over time when consciousness is a phenomenon involving an innumerable amount of physical processes.

I am not arguing for the existence of a soul, rather the erroneous notion that death results in the end of consciousness. If consciousness is physical in the materialist view, the self, therefore, does not hold a persistent identity over time but is rather an expression of physical consciousness. Explaining the image I posted, if time is infinite, consciousness is therefore infinite as well. Death is finite, as matter can't be destroyed, only transformed; consciousness continues also, but expressed in a different form.

Maybe i get its like coal it can be a t Rex then to tree then human. Or energy first to heat energy then light energy.. that don't mean conciussness will stay the same because it have been transformed to something else

You are on the right track here, but you make the mistake of assuming that there are multiple individual 'consciousnesses' (idea of self) when in a physicalist universe, there are no individual distinctions, rather pure Consciousness as an ontological reality.
