Does personality matter more in high school? or even status?

Sometimes it feels like no matter how much I built my outside looks in HS, I still remain unnoticed and if im actively trying to get closer to a girl I only speak to her like once lol n they never text again or approach em gotta do it first, then I see sub7 deformed faced guys(not legit but chopped) guys speaking to those same people like the end goal isn't girls its just confidence and looking good but im curious how guys like that can just talk to girls who look way better then em

appeal and looks is king in HS, those foids don't have a large numbers of guys to talk to so ofc some mtns can get bitches. ur social intellegence is prob cooked, u have to learn to act like ur not a retard.
