The authors states in the conclusion that they didn't establish a causal link between tret and all-case mortality. What we do know is that it helps protect against skin cancer. Why still be sceptical?

It is FDA approved for anti-aging. There is no arguing with that within the hierarchy of knowledge. But, acclimating to tretinoin can be tough for some people. So it might be better to start with retinol or adapalene. Wear sunscreen.

You sure this is because of tret? seems unlikely.
