The president has limited power, especially over social issues, people should stop getting their hopes up, for their own sake.

Most men who came up in the higher military ranks are far more competent and qualified than any foid could ever be. Plus, they're fucking men, for crying out loud, so they're hardwired for war, unlike some roastie, who's not even subject to the draft.

But I disagree that Trump can afford to water down his administration with basically DEI hires because most of his staff is competent and will take up the slack. This would've been considered scandalous, even treasonous, back when America was a reasonable country. He should be doing the exact opposite, and reversing all the awful policies that have been rammed down our throats by the Marxist criminals on the left, who should all be impaled.

Actually there was a point to complain about it, but I'm happy to say that I just realized I misunderstood the headline, so there is hope.

It turns out, Trump is not appointing one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (secretary of Defense-- a military position), but just "Chief of Staff", which is an administrative position that entails organizing events, etc. It's one of the handful of jobs that a woman may be suited for.

I'm relieved. Going forward, let's hope he fills more serious positions with men, and well qualified ones.
