Yes genetic balding exists but you could actually be furthering increasing the intensity of rate of your balding prematurely by doing weight training as well. I just realized this and I am never going to do weights again tbh. I'm just going to do cardio and crunches from here on out, I literally dgaf about being skinny anyway, as long as it means I get to keep my head full of hair for as long as I can. I just also fucking realized why my hair loss went into fucking overdrive after I joined the military and it was the constant stress and excersise from BMT and tech school, which was something that my body had never experienced before. From now on I'm going to just be skinny while having defined abs and calves if it means I get to keep my hair for longer :oops:. Besides girls nowadays have a niche for skinny prettyboys with heads full of hair (yes I know I'm not a prettyboy, but that's what the surgeries are for :p).

It’s not about how much DHT you have but your sensitivity to it what matters

I’ve been gymmaxxing since 17yo and still has perfect NW0 hairline. Meanwhile my dad already started to bald at my age. It’s really up to chance if you are predestined to be a norwoodcel or not

I agree, but having lots of DHT when you already have a high sensitivity to it, would only make your intensity of balding rate worse now wouldn't it? Atleast at this point, even if you are naturally genetically predisposed to balding, you wont be making your situation even worse, by adding further DHT to what you already have normally, thereby allowing you to keep your hair for longer.

The way I see it is that unless you are a Norwood Reaper - proof Eastern Asian, sooner or later you will bald.

This isn’t that much of a problem if the process starts to manifest itself in your 30-40s, as at that point you will have already bred a woman, have the money for HT etc.

On the other hand if you already start to aggressively norwood in your early 20s (or in rare cases even teens :feelsbadman:), that means you are ultra sensitive to DHT and at that point you are fighting an unwinnable uphill battle. In this scenario you are meant to be bald very early, finasteride might or might not work, HT is a possibility but not many guys have the money for that that early in their life.

That’s why I think abstaining from exercise is a very dumb thing to do. It perhaps does increase T thus DHT marginally but at the end of the day if you are very prone to balding it won’t matter

Yes, i was on FIN for a year and a half, but then my dick started not working, like i had some onset of ED, so i got off of it last october to save my dick.
