I have had ton of female friends in my life, never was I romantically/sexually attracted to them except probably once who was/ kinda is my oneitis.
For all the female friends of mine who did develop feelings for me or were attracted sexually (like 2 of them till now nothing crazy), I observed a pattern where I just lowkey ignored all the hints. “Omg dr. Mog wait lemme get closer, you smell so good” even on a day where I forgot to wear my Louis Vuitton fragrance. “Look at that groomed handsome beard of yours, you look like a main lead in a narcos movie” and much more but as a man, I definitely remember most of the compliments but despite the obvious signs I always slept at night not really thinking about them because my mind couldn’t fathom them being my dating partner, ever.
JFL they weren’t even bad women. They were mostly MTBs and literally had MTN+ men on their dms ready to date them. Later through their other female friends I got to know that all those flirty hints were actually…..them genuinely flirting with Dr. Mog and shooting their shot. I did roam out with them to movies, pubs, cafes, concerts often but never really saw them at a dating potential level. I had to sometimes pretend to have a cold to stop getting this MTB to sit too close to me every single time when we were outside.
The takeaway is this :- going back to the first line of the thread, my oneitis. So thisss, thisss is how a woman feels like when she’s persuaded by men she’s not attracted to. Just like how my mind chose to silence all those obvious hints and just enjoy the ‘friendship’ company with them; the female brain works the same way too. I can looksmax further and hint my long term female friend all I want, but if the door in her head isn’t opened for dating me it just doesn’t work no matter how attractive I am to everybody else.
