I hate how women put highlights in their hair. It's just another fake and ugly thing that women do to themselves because it's popular.



A lot of white women will do this to make their hair lighter, while also tanning. It minimizes their color contrast. This is the actress Kate Beckinsale in her normal look:

Most "fake" features imitate real features. Lighter-haired people (non-black hair) have variation between teh colors of individual hairs, but it is subtle and getting highlights has a completely different look. Same way that natural large breasts are attractive and watermelon breast implants are not.

it's all taste and preferences, I like Kate's normal look better.

As long as the highlights are somewhat similar to real hair colors, I don't mind.

The real looksminn are unnatural colors like red, green, blue etc.

For some reason red hair dye always looks fake, as much as something like green or blue, even though red is a "real" hair color.

Hair highlights even look good on men if you have a good face and hair is thick enough
