A check happens when your king is getting "threatened" by a piece. If you move the rook the opponent bishop is eyeing down your king. It's an illegal move, you can't move into check

Yes,so you just take the rook for the bishop,even better would just be adding pressure with QE4 but that position op posted is lost and he should resign and rope in any order.

I already said QE4 Double attacking the pinned rook would be the best move

But let's say I played as black bishop takes rook c2 check,white retakes with king.

At that point it's 2 bishops + 1 knight for white against 1 queen and 1 bishop for black.

White has no immediate attack and should resign.

Your king is pinned by his bishop. If you move your rook, his bishop will put you in check.
