Parents polygenically select for better health outcomes, among other things:

Archive version:

After selecting a baby with the best polygenic risk score to healthmax the child, "Smigrodzki, a North Carolina neurologist with a doctorate in human genetics, argues that parents have a duty to give a child the healthiest possible start in life, and most do their best."

Absolutely amazing.
The good thing about this is that you can select for MANY traits, such as intelligence (see EDU PGS) or height!
This means no more stupid manlets running around in the future! The era of manlets is coming to an end when research continues like this. Sadly, I don't think there are any polygenic scores for "Facial attractiveness", but atleast you can reduce the risk of bad health and manletism, aswell as stupidity in your children.

The article also has some cucked scientists crying about this "exacerbating health disparities among races and classes.":soy:
But who cares honestly?

This is lifefuel! If you ever want to have children, keep polygenic selection in mind.

THE LAST THING WE NEED IS GENETICALLY ENGINEERED HUMANS

start with genociding the subhumans and over populated ethnics first, reduce the world population to around a billion, THEN talk about gene editing

Through this no, unless you have a jewish woman to impregnate.
This is done with In-vitro fertilization. And then you get like 5 embroys or so (it depends) and you choose the best one based on their polygenic scores.

This is NOT gene editing like CRISPR.

JFL if you think this technology will be available to the average person

yeah it will be available to the top 99% which makes it even worse :lul:

the poor will keep being poor and subhuman while the rich and powerful get engineered superhumans

So the other 4 embryos just get aborted (a.k.a. murdered)?

Well, this polish guy is the first one who used polygenic selection for his child. And she is like a year old.

But polygenic scores function the same basically. Usually, for traits in humans, you don't have one gene, but multiple genes interacting with eachother which affect a trait (for example: height). Then you get a bunch of different genes that are associated with height and from those genes, you can get a polygenic score (or polygenic risk score as it's sometimes called) which is usually predictive with a good degree of accuracy.
But it depends on how many genes have been found and so on.

Gene-editing itself will take way more time than embryo selection because while you can get Single nucleotid polymorphisms (SNPs) which are associated with a trait, you often don't really know which one is causal. So, in one gene, you will have different SNPs, which are all associated with the trait, but you don't actually know which one actually does anything.

Pretty much. But In-vitro fertilization is usually done in Petri dishes anyway.
Only after selecting an embryo will it actually go inside the womb. And I think most fertilizations don't even survive long enough to reach that stage to begin with. I would have to read up on that again, not too sure what the percentage was.

Satanic gay shit

Literally have kids young and not at 35 and they turn out healthy, and be healthy yourself you fat fuck @americans

Lifefuel for manlets right?

They will have better genetics but will still be victims to vaccines, additives in foods, the water. Eventually if humans get too tall, being small will be seen as healthier and better genetically. Thinking better genetics fixes everything is Jewish brainwashing.

Well, not for manlets who are currently adults.
But if manlets were to procreate, they can make sure to select the embryo with tall genes.

Is it really murder if they don't even have a nerve system or heart? As long as it's done early enough I don't think it would be murder.

Jesus, richfags will literally be gods in the near future - Elysium style.

Heightmaxing child through embryonic selection is one of the easiest things we can do now. We know a lot of the thousands of genes involved so polygenic scores give a reasonable idea of predicted height. My polygenic score for my height was very accurate.

you know this has nothing to do with looks, it's selecting to minimize diseases and disorders , not the kids jaw

Future is eugenics!

Exactly. It is in society's best interest to get rid of the faulty genes and thus incelism - the ideology of sexual frustration that has paradoxically created modern vaginocentric states. If ugliness disappears from our society, wrong views will disappear
