My dopamine is through the roof, ortho agreed to do MSE on me and I told him I want a facepuller, even showed him the DIY ones, he jfled and said no movement is possible in adults, but I‘ll get more into it during the next appointment. :lul: Once all of that is done I‘m cleared for a high Le Fort 1. I‘ll also show him the dudes that installed MSE on themselves next time. :lul:

He knows me for 7 years now and we get along well, that might have helped. He didn’t really question it much, I said I need it because my palate is too narrow and he obviously agreed. He’s trying to get the insurance to pay, but if not that’s ok too.

Who cares tbh
You gonna ascend very hard with this

I hope I will. I‘m gonna go full force, my ortho also said he has a device to pull the lower jaw forward, gonna do that before the Bimax to make my mandible even more brutal. :lul:

Do you have sleep apnea?
Most orthos reject the operation unless there is a legitimate reason to get one (from what I've read)

So what the fuck
You gonna do lefort and bimax that doesnt make any sense

I do have a suspected sleep apnea yea, but not confirmed yet. My ortho will still do the MSE

I‘m gonna get MSE plus the mandible pulling device, then get a high Le Fort 1 (or maybe even something more) along with a BSSO and an MSDO (or an IMDO if I can) and that will be the „Bimax“.

Be sure to get a scan to determine whether you have any degree of palatal tori, it will really complicate things if not considered. In my experience and research on anecdotes, orthos are currently too conservative in their approach. MSE theory currently underestimates the stubbornness of male bone over female bones.

If you have dense bone I'd suggest considering corticopuncture, from my own experience.
