Well, even though I approached, chatted and flirted with hundreds of girl, I only had 3 girlfriends; they pretty much chose you, you don't chose them, so it actually makes little difference on what you say or do, they just have to like how you look and not act completely autistic...
My first girlfriend was just pure chance - a girl I randomly met on the street in a group of girls, I started talking to them, went together to a club, and one of them dragged me in a corner and said her friend likes me and wants us to be together.
The second was a girl from college that I orbited for like two years, we had everything in common, spent almost every day from morning to evening together at courses, in the library, with the other classmates, going out - to movies, walks, in bars, clubs, trips, having fun, etc.; our conversations were amazing, everything was perfect, but she had a boyfriend and only when she got bored with him and eventually dumped him, my time finally came and we actually became a couple.
The third was a girl I've met online, although our first date was pretty bland and boring, and I thought it won't lead to anything, she kept clinging to me, messaged me, called me and finally there was some sort shift and we became very close and affectionate to each other.

However, in the vast majority of all the other girls that I approached and talked to, no amount of "game", talking, flirting, keeping "frame" and all that other stuff PUAs and redpillers preach ever worked, even though sometimes it seemed to work temporarily and a date would go great - lots of laughing, touching, kissing, etc., the next day I would find myself ghosted, or put in the friendzone, or the girl would claim she's busy, doesn't have time for a relationship, etc...
It looks like it's basically just a number game, and simply approaching more girls would increase your chances regardless of what you do or say.
