So a few days ago me and my friend were playing gta online and I get this message from some guy asking if I want to do “modded cayo” and saying we’ll make 29 million or sum
So I accept and he invites me and then I invite this friend of mine. The heist starts and this mf starts flying the boat everywhere. (Oh and btw he had a monkey skin jfl
). Then he gets out of the boat and messages me to stay in the boat. Then he starts flying everywhere and teleporting us. Then we finish the heist and we get that menu saying we completed the heist AND IT SAYS WE WON 18 MILLION EACH.
Spoiler: we check our bank account and theres no sign of the money.We thought that something went wrong and we waited for the money a while, but then we started thinking this nga might have scammed us. But what could he have gained from this? Did he do it just for fun?
Oh and I forgot to mention that he gave me all the weapons in the game (full ammo of course), but they started gradually disappearing.
In conclusion, I think it was a scam although the guy messaged me a few times and he seemed really nice. He also tried inviting me again but I was voted out of that session.
