Which uni do u go to

It’s the same in the US I’ve touched on this before.

There will be parking lots full of luxury cars and it’s all gook foreign exchange students. They have a natural affinity for math and other topics that I just can’t comprehend

I couldn’t give less of a shit about anything mathematically related at this point and wouldn’t mind never doing anything of that nature for the rest of my life.

the ability to think in a logical and structured manner to solve problems is a very important skill. mathematics teaches you this. if you learn mathematics you will be better at whatever you want to do with your life

I agree that it's a huge advantage to be good in mathematics. It's just simply not how my brain works. I'm not gifted in that aspect and can understand it. Sure, I've passed college level math classes with studying etc. But I've probably finished lower middle of the class if I had to guess.

Yeah, your earning potential is definitely limited in regard to being an employee for your lack of skills in the most demanding fields. It's assumed you're probably not good at computer science either by that fact.

It's going to be an uphill battle for you in terms of compensation unless you're wiling to invest many years in a doctorate education or something similar like psychology

i agree. at least you completed college level math. giving it ago is necessary and makes you to some degree intellectually superior to those that never labored through a quantitative class. at the same time acknowledging weaknesses is also good.
However, keep in mind that all the asians you spoke of who have a 'natural affinity for maths' more likely than not, study extremely hard. yeah sure a minority get top tier grades with little to no study but they are a minority. the majority have superior capacity for delayed gratification and simply study longer and harder than others, but dont admit to how hard they study, giving the illusion that of a 'natural affinity' for mathematics.

yea ive known this for a while now. the subjects i am primarily good at are liberal arts related, such as english, history, psychology, etc. But they pay jackshit.

but as ive progressed through high school ive realized im not good at anything in general, to the extent to be exceptional in any fields.

I'm going to give computer engineering/programming a shot in college and see what happens.

Yes, absolutely. I have absolutely no doubt that those students studied very hard. To pay that much for their education and to be as many programs as they were in, I'm sure they made the best of it.

I didn't try nearly as hard - But I'm not going to the route of saying "Imagine how good I'd do if I studied all day" because a big part of success and intelligence is prioritizing things that are important. These things are not important to me whatsoever and I don't think I'd ever find the capacity to study at a rigorous level in regard to them; even if they'd benefit me somewhat.

However, when it comes to delayed gratification in regard to looks - I'm all for it. In sports I can delay it too. I never minded getting smacked by tons of people so that I could become better and better even in front of friends. I understand delaying gratification is a necessary evil.
