None. I turned very slowly, expanded 10mm. It took about two months. 1-2 turns a day. I don’t see any asymmetry. I honestly should have asked for a bit more time on it. The ortho began to worry that I was going to go over my teeth below. He advised I should stop or get SFOT. I can’t break the bank with MSE DJS and SFOT. I’m already in the hole with MSE, so I only want DJS. I’m now looking for surgeon that will accept my insurance. The good doctor is amazing, the other ones that accept my insurance may not be as good.

Who did you go to? What kind of facial changes do you notice other than the wider palate?

My cheeks bones seemed to expand outward. My cheeks hollowed a bit. This is just my observation I have no measurements. I don’t want to tell you where I went, not to hide information, but I don’t want my dont want to bring up my docs name in here. I’m sorry and please don’t ask anymore about him lol.

Overall I would say this, MSE is a slight improvement depending on if you will do SFOT or not. If not, lower your expectations for MSE.

It can be as late as 60, if you find the right ortho. I am 40ish and got it done.
