Has anyone really asked this? How do these surgeons become famous, develop a reputation, etc? Of course shilling themselves is part of it and it seems to be that their results often have little to do with their fame. Not only are many surgeons sociopathic, but it's questionable that they even have a good technique or eye for beauty.
After my botched rhinoplasty from a famous surgeon, I would trust a doctor from Turkey that has 6 million godlike before-and-afters than a name-brand surgeon from the US. The Anglo world is obsessed with meaningless credentials from universities and medical boards. Ask who are considered the best doctors in the US on any site, and the names you get recommended have the following: they teach at some hospital, they are on some board or whatever. But did they get appointed to these positions because they had great aesthetic sensibilities and dexterous hands? I don't even think so.
Besides, what do ANY of these credentials have to do with giving me a Chad face? They should be rated on the job they do by a panel of autistic professionals, like gymnasts or ice skaters at the Olympics, and be ranked accordingly. These surgeons getting famous seemingly randomly and arbitrarily makes absolutely no sense. People should be asking questions, because this process is a total black box and we can only go by hearsay from other people who may or may not be paid shills.
