I'm trying to learn Spanish by myself but I can't figure out where to start.

Do I just use duolingo or pirate some textbook or something?

idk, but I've always wanted a third language and it opens up the possibility.

Also a lot countries in Europe have Spanish as a second language.

I personally would choose Chinese, Korean or Japanese instead.

I don’t speak from experience but I guess these are some good things how you could learn it

-start by learning the most basic vocabulary and sentences

-after that incorporate watching movies in that language with subtitles of your own language or watch specifically movies you already know in the language you want to learn + subtitles of that language

-learn more specific vocabulary of topics you are interested in, start reading books/news or whatever in that language

But honestly the best way is and always will be being in an environment where people speak the language so that you are forced to speak it and learn it that way

Lol, those are like the hardest languages to learn, while Spanish is one of the easiest...

Yes, but I wouldn't choose a language based on how easy it is.

Come to Peru I live here
I learned English by myself tbh at 12 I already had a bilingüal brain

be consistent with it, I learned Italian by myself and the best advice I can give you is that you should try to speak it a lot, go on Omegle or chat rooms where you can hold a conversation and try to practice your Spanish with Spanish speakers, every word that you don't know you should write it down in a piece of paper and go through every word you don't know every day until you memorize them and then discard them from the pile of words, consuming content like youtube or series in Spanish is also a very good way to learn, but try to avoid subtitles and only use them when necessary, if not you are going to be inefficiently learning the language, look at those anime cucks who watch 2000 hours of subtitled anime and can only say 5 words
