Not true. Capital is a finite resource, and you want it to be allocated as efficiently as possible
These guys' job in society is to allocate resources to profitable ventures and away from unprofitable ones. This benefits everyone because a profitable company is one that is making things that people want and at a price that they can afford. These companies are also adding value to the economy, because the resources they take out (labour/materials) is worth less than the things they produce (or else they wouldn't be profitable).
An unprofitable company is the opposite, it destroys value in the economy and is a net negative for society.

Yeah that’s the initial funding stage. I’m talking the trading sector. Completely useless.

Most jobs are just unnecessary or add very little value and should definitely be automated
