that Adderall is not ideal because it is (70% Dextro-Amphetamine, 30% Levo-amphetamine) and the Levo isomer gives a tweaky effect not ideal for concentration. The speed paste is racemic amphetamine meaning 50% Dextro, 50% Levo. This is why it's pretty bad as a study aid even if pure.

Chemicals and gear needed:
If you got the speed paste from a decent vendor from Europe it will probably be cut Racemic amphetamine sulphate mixed with different organic solvents (Mainly acetone, maybe isopropyl alcohol or methanol). You probably already know from mainstream niggas like clav
- Dark web bought "Speed Paste"
- Sodium Hydroxide / Potassium Hydroxide, can be bought as drain cleaner (grocery store) or as lye (online). I have used both, it might be hard to find it in pure form as drain cleaner.
- Sulfuric Acid, can be bought as car battery electrolyte online in 15% form. The excess water can be boiled off, since sulfuric acid boiling point is over 300 C. You will have to do this outside because toxic SO2 and SO3 gases will still escape the solution. (not really that toxic lol just bad for your lungs
)
- Organic Solvent: Ethanol, etc
- Pure Acetone: You can get it online, or distill it from nail polish
- L - Tartaric acid (you need L - tartaric acid, not D - or racemic), you can order it online from etsy, ebay, etc
- Distilled or Deionized Water
- pH paper
- Separation funnel
Procedure:
TLDR: Be a smart druggie
- Purifying the Speed paste: Get the paste, thin it out on a ceramic plate until it dries. Now, scrape the resulting powder with a credit card into a beaker. Add a sufficient amount of pure acetone and mix well. (amphetamine sulphate is not soluble in acetone but a lot of the adulterants like caffeine are. It's important that the acetone is dry, meaning there's no water in it, otherwise the amphetamine will dissolve). After stirring for 3-5 mins filter the solution with a coffee filter and a funnel and dry it again on a plate.
- Freebasing the Amphetamine: Get your semi-pure speed powder and dissolve it in a beaker with water. If it's cut with lactose or some other junk not all of the powder will dissolve so filter it. Add 40% of the volume of water as Ethanol, then add an already dissolved solution of 10% Sodium Hydroxide little by little until the amphetamine solution gets to a pH of about 12-14. The amphetamine should separate in a different layer above the water (like how acts when it's mixed with water). Pour the whole solution in the Separation funnel and discard the bottom layer, add more of the sodium hydroxide solution, mix discard the bottom layer again and extract the amphetamine layer.
- Separating the Isomers: Prepare a solution of Ethanol and L-tartaric acid and slowly add it to the amphetamine freebase solution until it reaches a neutral or slightly acidic pH. The L-tartaric acid will react with both the isomers forming different salts with different properties. For example D-Amphetamine-L-Tartrate is less soluble than L-Amphetamine-L-Tartrate in ethanol. Therefore the D-Amphetamine-L-Tartrate will crystallize first when the solvent is evaporated. Use your lab skills to isolate the D-Amphetamine-L-Tartrate and then turn it into freebase once again (same thing, just add NaOH solution until 12-14 pH).
- Salting out the Dextro-Amphetamine: Add Sulfuric acid (preferably anhydrous but can also be a little diluted) to the solution until neutral to slightly acidic pH. You might Already see the D-amph sulphate precipitating. Add Dry Acetone until it fully gets out of solution, (remember that amphetamine is not soluble in acetone?). Then filter it and dry it again and you'll have pure dextroamphetamine!
