How to judge Upper Eyelid Exposure?

I have no idea how to tell if I have too much upper eyelid exposure. Depending on where I'm looking, it can sometimes be completely absent and my eyes look hooded and nice, but in some pictures it looks bad.

You look straight on.. no one would have hooded eyes looking down unless their face is obese af

Look straight into the camera. That's what your eyes would look like when looking into someone's eyes.

You can determine how much upper eyelid exposure you have by taking a picture from a neutral point of view.
