I changed my mind about mongolia

I was gonna use a company that was gonna charge me $2000 for the horses, equipment, route planning, and training for my solo journey across Mongolia. But is it really solo if they trained me?

But instead, I will just buy a plane ticket to Mongolia and find someone to help me do it myself

I’ll watch some YouTube videos on how to do it and should be good. Just need a map and most of my supplies weight being water

You might be right, just don't underestimate how much you'll need in terms of supplies.

Maybe a GPS with coordinates would be better than a map. A map could cause confusion and make it unclear as to where you are at any given time in such a desolate place.
