- mum: 3 degrees, 2 in the west from a good uni
- aunt: diploma and nice house from good job. NT and fit
- sister: Scholarship to top tier uni in my country and degree. NT and fit
- Dad: Grinded his way from absolute poverty in Africa to middle class in the west
- Cousins that I know (Female): Good grades in elementary, good grades in high school, paths to uni secured. NT, fit, happy.
- Me: Very bad grades in elementary, high school, struggled my way to college, behavioural issues from the beginning, severe mental illness, not fit, extremely non NT
Seen as a bit of a failure. Aunt has flexed on me on multiple occasions with her kids. Her kids (females) usually hated me whenever I came over and refused to talk to me. Only 1 wanted to talk
Dad cashed in his chips when I was born and wanted me to be a sports player, tried to push me into sports but it didn’t work. So he got fed up and cashed in on somebody else around 2013-2014. Went and had another son I’m pretty sure.
By that point he started coming around less tbh. Didn’t care as much as before. Seemed to be less happy with me around. Around October 2019 he said I failed to make him happy like I was supposed to
my family have a mindset which I’ve never been able to truly get into tbh. Mindset for winning. It’s not even a generational thing. My cousins are around same age and got what they needed done. Sister is very early gen Z/extremely late millennial and got it done.
