I dont have any friends from my new school

There hasnt been any group projects yet or socialising between anyone expect there is this one group of 4 guys who are friends.
They are 1 year younger than me, but idk how to approach them. Im pretty nt and have always been the classclown but now schools have been out for 2 days and everyone is just quiet in the class. Im eating alone during lunch breaks. Literally havent said a word yet to anyone expect to teacher. Anyone else have the same problem?

get out of your comfortzone and just do it , they also in the same shoes right now just break the ice , maybe bring chewing gum with you or coockies and ask if they want something to break the ice and just after that talk about something
