1- don't think. Especially when dealing with what people tell you, if it makes you stressed out just don't think about it. Try to get your mind off that thought.
2- don't have any expectations. Pretty obvious and simple if you want to avoid frustrations. Never have high expectations about anything, go into it with neutral expectations
