I said the language you grow up with.

No native language will ever be "hard" for the native speaker.

There are not really "hard" languages, you just find slavic languages more difficult since you already speak germanic languages, so they are easier for you to learn. For a native Russian speaker other slavic languages will be easier. All a matter of perspective.

Spaniards and Latinos speak the same language. But Latinos have low intelligence. It's the same with French-speaking Africans. And Slavic countries have the same level of IQ as in Western Europe (the difference is 1-2 IQ, but I think these are just economic factors)
