I just realised thought gives me so much pleasure

But it had to be in leisure, and have a melancholic tone to it. Im not as much on quickly processing something even though it may be more efficient and allow you to read more content , but dwelling on a thought can lead to associations and feeling that can make it a more consolidated part of your thought appendage. Especially true for movies and poetry but also slow literature. This is why I like slow Westerns so much
