Looking forward to it! It's 2:41 am right now, so it's the perfect time to smoke a cigarette in the backyard.

I know, I know.. bad habit. But felt a bit low past few days. I plan on quitting again by the end of this year.

I got this pack because my friend got it for me (I asked him for it, he said on the condition that I do not get addicted, I said sure).

Have had it since Thursday.. 20 cigarettes in this pack. I have 17 left. Well, 16 after tonight. Won't buy another pack after this one except at the end of the year when I'm on a vacation.

Just don't worry about your age, man. Be yourself. I went to a community college last year and despite being the oldest person, I got along well with anyone. Of course, there was one Bosnian kid who kept bringing up my age but hey I'm going straight to an actual college while he has to rot 3 years (two more) after this, so who's laughing now? (I did get along with him though, it was just banter).

College in the Netherlands is basically high school but everyone's older and you have more freedom, show up whenever you want, et cetera and everyone lives at home (or they live on their own somewhere else in the city). We don't have dormitories or anything like that.

Yes, I'm doing computer science, too. I need to have a high-end laptop but I'm opting for a lower-end laptop as I can upgrade in the future. No, I'm not worried about the tuition fee because I'm getting student loans. I have to pay 2k every year. It should cost me 8k in total. I will have some money left with the amount I'm lending. Nothing too much, but it's enough to study and also live a normal life. No lavish spendings or anything. I'm not that type of person anyway as I am not materialistic. But yeah, I don't know how old you are but if you don't have a degree, I urge you to go to college ASAP. It's so much better than rotting everyday at home by yourself while everyone's moving forward in life and you're stuck where you were nearly a decade ago.

I don't plan on staying away from this forum during my studies. I will have enough time to be online, but of course, I need to set a limit as to how much time I will allow myself to be on here. I also have plans to study in my own free time. But I will definitely be here everyday still (God-willing).

Thank you Bolivian bhai. Yeah, I'm definitely going to befriend some classmates but I won't go out of my way to do it. I can make friends while we're studying, should be no biggie.

ESPECIALLY if there's more non-whites in my class, since non-whites are a lot more sociable than whites, in my experience. But it also depends on the type of non-whites.. browns for instance ignored me the first day at community college but a black guy and a mulatto didn't. They were both hella cool. But later I got along well with one brown guy. When I went on a vacation, the brown guy (Moroccan Berber) and the mulatto both said they missed me when I was gone on a vacation.

So @comingtothisJFL it all depends on how you are. Be nice to everyone (of course, if they're nice to you or neutral at least) and you'll be well-liked, regardless of your age.

Definitely not. Maybe in cuckmerica, but here in Europe, you can be 30+ and no one's gonna bat an eye if you're in university. Though older people usually opt for a part-time study (due to having a full-time job) because they can't get along well with younger people anyway, whereas I can. So it's fine. I remember even having 40+ year old students (though very few in number, of course). When I first studied in college (at 19), I had a 30 year old classmate. I never thought it was weird either. Did drop out after that though.
