One of my friends sisters is a comp sci major who graduated a last year, and her job allows her to work remotely. So she is always on vacation, just working from country to country on her laptop. It honestly sounds like lifefuel. It would be so cool to constantly travel places and just chill 24/7. Getting an erection just thinking about it

Same, no degree but did a coding bootcamp last year and I’m high iq, hoping that when I fix my sleep I can develop those skills and thrive remotely. In the short term it lets me enjoy traveling, long term it lets me raise a family rural. I’m just skeptical on the economy as well as freedom of travel over the next decade or so

People have been doing that for years. Nothing new. It's easy. If you really want to do it, teach English online to kids in China while hopping around SE Asia. Money's good and you don't need anything but a high school diploma. Don't need any experience either. You can Learn as you go. China's got too high of a population to meet their demand of English teachers without cutting corners. Anybody can get hired.

Just google "Teaching English Online" and learn up on it. And don't be discouraged by false info saying you need "x" qualification in order to do it. It's all bullsh*t written by people who went to college and don't want people who haven't make the same money as them. Even if a company says they need a certain qualification and you don't have it, apply anyway. It's usually just something they gotta say for legal reasons. They don't care as long as you speak good English.

Yeah, that's not real life. The glare on the computer screen will ruin the experience.

I almost did this a couple years ago. Was discouraged by thinking I need a degree as well the fact I couldn’t do it anyway with my sleep. Did a whole online certification course and shadowed some local English school for the illegals

Yeah, you don't need that. I've taught English at every level for 9 years without a degree. I love rubbing the fact that I'm "unqualified" to jealous little college "educated" f*ckers. They hate that I make the same or more than them. I'm a better teacher than most of them as well.

F*ck them. Not all of em. Just the ones who are jealous and spread misinformation. I hate people who discourage others.

I teach in a classroom, not online. Last job I quit in November I was making 19,000 Yuan (about $2,600 - $2,700) a month. I had a fully furnished apartment for about $200 a month. No car to worry about either (public transport is very good/cheap over here). Saving potential here blows the West out of the water.

Online salaries are also very good I hear. Working online though you can make your money in China while living in an even cheaper country like Cambodia, Vietnam, or even the Balkans/Ukraine or something.

If you're a U.S.citizen you can live in Georgia a whole year visa free. Just need your passport.
