I want to get a genio soon and I was wondering about the recovery

It takes about a month to fully heal, but how long does it take to look more or less normal after the surgery? If I take it on a friday would I have to miss school/work or would I already be in conditions to go to school/work by monday? I heard that you also have to put a break on your physical activities, for how long?
