Being tall does not guarantee having tall children, it just increases the chances of it happening. And there are other factors that predict a Childs height. If a kid is obese all throughout their childhood all the way to being an adult, they will have a much higher chance of being taller than they should be. My dad is a manlet who reproduced with a woman let and my younger brother ended up being average height. My brother and I were the same size at birth, but he ended up taller because he was obese as a kid and I wasnt. At least so I suspect. There is also a theory out that women can carry the tall gene even if they are not tall themselves.
