lol at falling for the "good person" meme. The propaganda from the elites really got you good.

This modern notion of what it means to be a "good person" is a very recent fabrication that was just made to control people in a Godless society. Historically, it just wasn't a thing.

If you said "good person" to anyone from the Classical Greek period or to ancient Romans, they'd instantly think of someone who is strong, rich, intelligent, high status, etc. Good just meant useful, desired, beneficial, or of high quality. It didn't have any moral connotations. This modern societal obsession with being seen as a good person simply didn't exist. If you said "bad person" to a Roman, they'd just think you're talking about some sickly broke loser. Not about someone who is "evil".

Yes, they believed in Gods, but being loyal to their Gods wasn't the most important thing in their lives. Their Gods also didn't have a book of rules telling you how to live your life to be considered "good" so that you'd get greenlit into the "cool kids club" when you die. (heaven)

Ancient Greeks didn't believe in post death judgment because the Greeks didn't have a concept of heaven and hell. They saw the afterlife as a cheerless phase. There were no fixed or enforced beliefs about life after death in ancient Rome. The general consensus was that the deceased lived on in the Underworld.

Nobody cared about being a moral person in the past. Sure, you were expected to be loyal to your family and friends, to be honest when conducting business and to respect the law of where you lived, but that was about it. You had zero moral obligations to random strangers. Absolutely zero. It was like this in most of the world.

Eventually christianity took over and the most important thing in someone's life was to be a devout christian and to go to heaven.

Everyone was obsessed with being a man of God. Because now there were consequences for being "bad" and a reward for being "good" in the afterlife. It was the perfect ideology to control people. The peasants would work their asses off their whole lives and follow all of the rules, living modestly without any unnecessary pleasures, and eventually they'd get to enjoy themselves in the afterlife!

But once religion started declining in the West, the elites were very worried. How would they keep the common people in check without afterlife consequences for their actions? They came up with a ridiculous solution that somehow worked. (Normies are brainless)

What was their masterful plan you might ask?

They just invested in propaganda that would shame people into following traditionally Christian values by calling them "bad" if they didn't and reward them by praising them and calling them "good" if they did.

News are you serious

Now being a good person became entirely attached to moral virtue. Normies will look at someone who is superior to them in every way - good looking, whealthy, successful, call them a bad person and walk away thinking they "won" :lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul:

It's especially dumb because morality is totally subjective.

Throwback to this:
Normies think that modern, 21st century western liberal morals are the apex of morality and anyone of any other era who didn't hold those morals were immoral
It's like a new religion. But without any actual reward for you. They're obsessed with being the most moral to be a "good person" as if that's objective by any metric. They crave being considered a good person like fanatics craved going to heaven in the middle ages. In the absence of religion, a new one will eventually form.

Every time a normie tells you that you're a bad person for doing this or that. Just ask them: "Why are you so obsessed with being a good person?"

I did it once and they were speechless. I challenged his entire value system and worldview with a single question that he couldn't answer.

"You're just supposed to want to be a good person, because otherwise you'll be a bad person!!! :soy::soy::soy::soy::soy:

That’s not what I meant.

I meant that normies will call someone a bad person for something they’ve done even if they’re winners and better than them in every single way.

Normies started basing off their self worth of being a moral person so they’ll think they’re better than those winners since the only thing that matters is being a “good person” according to modern dogma.

Agreed with most of what you said, reminded of me of a quote I read from Edward Bernays in his book Propaganda

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.

We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind."

Agreed, but it doesn't have to be through virtue signaling and shaming cancel culture based on moralist purists. Japan doesn't have any of this shit and they're more civilized than most of the west.

jfl if you arent commit crimes in 2022

You missed the point. I'm not saying that it's better to live a moraless lawless society.

I'm saying that people shouldn't base their worth on following a dogma. There shouldn't be this massive shaming culture that inhibits free speech and makes people into conformist virtue signalers. 50 years ago there was less crime in the west and people were more free to speak their mind without being judged.

Exactly. Great example. That subreddit is basically just a place for normies to feel morally superior to others. They go there just to get an ego boost and shit talk other people. Normies love to shit talk and look down on others, they just need an excuse to do so. As soon as someone is branded a "bad person" it's a free for all on them. Normies are vultures.

For example, this whole "Punch a nazi" meme

1670697078270
1670697084739

They are just violent insecure people who want somebody to punch so that they can feel superior. Someone being branded as a "bad person" is just a pretext to indulge in the activity they enjoy most. Humiliating and beating down someone below them in the hierarchy.

All of these "predator hunters" (Catfishers who create accounts with hot girl pics and say they're teenaers to lure men into dates) are another example. They just want to find someone they can call "bad" so they're free to attack them without facing consequences. What they truly get off on is the act of humiliating and attacking someone else. They just need the greenlight from society. They don't give a shit about the nonexistent victim, they just wanna be the hero that wins against the bad guy.

Mmmm this topic is deeper than you might think. I have covid induced brain retardness so I cant write too much.

I ask thy mind a question lefortnaxxed buddy boyo. How do you view yourself? And how do you feel when doing something morally wrong just because? Do you enjoy folks sufferment? These are serious questions.

I'm a realist. I'm self aware enough to understand that humans have selective empathy and a tribal mentality.
And how do you feel when doing something morally wrong just because?
I wouldn't do something wrong "just because". If I do something "wrong", it's because I either don't think it's wrong or I think it's not a big deal and/or it's justified. I wouldn't fuck someone over for the sake of it. I have my own morality.

The point isn't that we should be amoral, it's that we accept that there isn't one right morality that all should follow.

I am not a sadist bro

You say that there isnt one right morality but you do realise that there are many wrong ones not follow too. So you can give some credit to those who try to "be a good person".

Anyway, our perceptions are highly different. I do not see in any way how population are actually attempting to be good people. Are you for real? I'd dare to say that we blackpillers have more values and ethics than regular people.

The way the world is developing is creating a large number of mentally skewed people, hidden behind the label of civilisation. Which is even more dangerous as you normally won't know who you're really dealing with. But honestly, I've been through anything you can think of. Betrayed in the most dirty ways but people who once even loved me.

There's something you got right. Moral ambivalence. It's there. Within all of us.

good=chad

none of us are good

I'd dare to say that we blackpillers have more values and ethics than regular people.
How so? I dont see how this could be the case

Cuz once you're blackpilled you have a veil lift off your eyes. Acknowledging this truth and struggle eventually makes a person have a better character. No hypocrisy. No delusions. So actually you have a lot to offer to people who are lost and the fact that you are open to the truth by default makes u have better ethic and values.

An average normie will reject the truth. Thus the whole system of values and ethics is based on delusion, insecurity and hostility towards that which threatens their world (blackpill). That's the reality of too many people. They are too late. But we all here are young have a drive and full of cum so we can handle one way or the other.
