my parents have no advice for anything. They didn't lead lives with any goals, and when confronted with challenge immediately submitted to them.

I can tell my father is insecure about himself too. he dresses up his paki accent, fake chuckles a lot, looks down a lot, and is very submissive when talking to anyone and has no friends and maintaining a conversation with him is a headache because he often misses the mark and launches into an impassioned speech on some religious topic
