I'm balding, where should I start?

I'm balding in the same spot as the picture but not as bad as him.
what should I start with? finasteride? minoxidil? oral or not? I don't know what these things mean exactly tbh, I just hear these names mentioned regularly here.
and will it restore some of my lost hair or it will only stop me from balding more?

How old are you?
Do you have temple recession, thinning or just balding crown?
A lot can be said about hair loss drugs but I'll try to make it short and concise:
Minoxidil is a growth stimulant, it will regrow more hair but IT WILL NOT stop the balding process. Minoxidil efficacy can be boosted with microneedling and/or tretnoin. It can be administered orally (loniten) or topically (rogaine) but the oral version can be hard to obtain in some countries and can also be pretty dangerous in terms of side effects.
Finasteride is a hormonal drug that reduces your dht levels via inhibiting the 5ar enzyme. It will completely stop hairloss in most people but can have nasty side effects in a small percentage of population. Dutasteride is a more powerful version of finasteride. Finasteride can be administered topically or orally.

you have 3 choices

1. finasteride/duta/ru all of these medication have the risk of possible side effects (doesnt mean they will occure though)

2. getting bald (which can possible end your dating life entirely)

3. getting a hairpiece


minoxidil an natural remedies wont work, there is no easy way out

also since you bald at the crown hairtransplant without finasteride is out of question for you (too much space to cover eventually)
