If people would go around disabling surveillance cameras, we wouldn't have this problem...
A long time ago, public lighting didn't spread in Romania because people would destroy or steal the lights, many felt uncomfortable having light on the streets during the night, so they would throw rocks at them...It took decades until people stopped doing this.
Right now we have again a grassroots movement against shared electric scooters like Lime or Bolt, many concerned citizens destroy or burn them, I don't understand why they don't do the same with cameras...
