I’m sitting at 14 % body fat rn. Should I keep cutting for facial leanness?

Tretinoinmax
I’ve been using it recently but took 2 weeks off because I was expected to be on vacation in a sunny area.

Also I don’t notice it helping much tbh

Also there was an all cause mortality study on Tret (possible systemic absorption) and it showed that people using topical tret had higher risk of all causes of death. Weird

The biggest effect on your facial leanness is water retention…

I can be 150lbs 6ft and still have a bloated face… My face is significantly less bloated at 170lbs if I’m on low salt compared to 150lbs eating salt.

You need to try 3 days of low salt.

That’s a good point. I notice especially if I eat a chipotle (the only splurge I make rn) that I can tell a diff.

I salt my food liberally but that’s nothing in comparison to what eating out does in terms of sodium.

Btw the foods I eat rn are so gross it’s like egg whites or plain steak. So I’m highly reliant on salt

The thing I notice is that my submental fatty tissue hasn’t fully gone yet. So I keep the beard. I dunno if it’s age or what but maybe I have to be 10% for this neck fat to disappear

face looks lean enough to me, just build your body, have a shave and maybe get a different haircut you look like you smell really bad

I don't normally push debloat stacks because 9/10 times the person in question is just a fatass and not as low body fat as they think but personally I think you're lean enough, just shave your beard, tretmaxx, and start eating cleaner (low carbs 1:4 sodium-potassium)

For me personally I’m an all or nothing guy - so most of the time I walk around as a bloated mess and other times I’ll b chiseled as f…

For example if I wanna look good for a nightout or event I will make sure to eat low salt 3 days before which will be chicken omelette, chicken rice, chicken beef mince and nuts with 0 seasoning and sauce.

I dunno how much salt you’re using on day to day basis as it’s hard to measure if you’re salting your food yourself but I’m saying salt is a big bloater and it might be worth cutting back and eating bland food for 3 days to see what you look like without salt.

Leaning more than that won't magically change your face.

Its not about low salt, it’s about consistent sodium intake

Yeah man you can read and quote as many studies as you want but I’m talking how my body reacts…

I have tested this many times and what you’ve said is bullshit, I honestly feel like it’s copers spreading this rumour as it’s too hard for them to cut out salt.

I wouldn't. I doubt sub 14% changes things and sometimes it will make jaw area descend.

Your face fat isn't the problem friend

What is? And I wasn’t saying it was I was jw if there was improvement to be made.

I have fun dieting and this sort of thing so it’s an easy l max potentially

You lack bones in the midface

Does lack of midface bones mean it’s time to bulk and get cheek fuller

Do you have abs right now non flexed? If not, keep cutting

^^^I included a pic of my face at high body fat also ^^^

Not lean enough. Cut a little more and get rid of the facial hair

Face looks lean enough though the beard makes it tough to tell. Usually 10-13% is optimal to sharpen features.

That dude looks like he cut down to <10% bf which would make most faces look ghoulish. I look a bit like you and I think 12% is where I look best

I may just spend 25$ and have a barber trim my facial hair. I always cut too little or too much off.

Your face needs contrast… either kill the beard and keep a longer crop hair.. or short crop hair with beard.. will accentuate your cheekbones and angularity…
