Step families for adults: Older couples adopting adults. For example, a 25 year-old could be adopted by an older couple (let's say 50-60 age range) and spend 1-2 years with them before moving out again. I think this would be a great service for people who grew up in dysfunctional families and want to have a good family experience.

But it won't happen of course, would be too weird for society to accept.

Yes. Surely if he never experienced a good family he could benefit from living with good, loving "parents" for 1-2 years.
