is cardio 2 x daily an overkill?

as most of you know, i got offensively fat in the last couple of months (mostly thanks to heavy drinking), and it's obvious i'm not gonna get in decent shape just by lowering my daily calorie intake by 300-500 ccal or so

has anyone here done this for 2-3 months without injuring their knees?

i'm planning to go early in the morning and before the dark every day (6 km of low intensity jogging)

-Lifestyle (work, school, gf lol etc)

No it's not overkill until you have a six pack

You can do an hour on treadmill in the morning and an hour after work/school.

Every single day

It is if jogging is your only form of cardio. Join a gym, use the elliptical machine or buy a bike. But continue doing the jogging a few times a week.

i'm mostly concerned because of my current weight, i need to lose at least 20 kg of fat. tried playing football like i was in my hs shape (at 18% or so bf) and got injured after my 3rd sprint, that's why i'm not sure if this is a good idea
 
don´t do cardio just do drugs. its faster. take speed but start with avery small dose. it will kill your hunger and raise your heartrate

i've been abusing some meds for their appetite-reducing side-effects before and i'd always just end up fatter in the long run. fixing your habits regarding eating and exercising is the only way to go

but did you try speed
 
Loosing weight is mostly about diet.

Focusing too much on cardio is a meme because it will just increase your appetite by a lot which makes it harder to keep the calories low

i agree. from my experience with cardio, there are 2 options:
- you won't be doing enough of it to burn a significant amount of fat anyway
- you'll burn enough, but then eat more than you usually would because of increased appetite

i'm only even thinking about it because gyms are not an option for me, i just feel too out of place there

why would it be any different with speed?

are you speaking from the position of a guy who was struggling with weight for years, took speed for a couple of months to destroy his appetite, and then lived happily as a lean guy for decades? you aren't.

But thats the best way.
More like 500-800 ccal over a few monts.
 
Walking is good too
 
I just do 1 minute of cardio on the treadmill and call it a day


Must be my mulatto genes cuz this is enough for me to fuck for hours

you can switch from speed to other drugs. just dont stop taking drugs
